SETTING NOKIA 6600 JADI MODEM INTERNET

Bingung gimana caranya internetan dirumah (di pedesaan)?. Jangan bingung…jaman sekarang gitu, kuk masih bingung…wkakakakaka(bercanda)......

Langsung aja ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini :

Gini, langkah pertama, siapin alat yang diperlukan berikut ini :
1. Komputer atau Laptop(OS Windows, bisa SP1 atau SP2)
2. Hape N6600
3. Bluetooth, yang saya pake merk Broadcom(bisa saja dengan merk yang lain), harga waktu itu sekitar 50rb.

Software yang diperlukan :
1. Driver(software) bawaan dari Bluetooth Broadcom
2. Nokia Modem Option buat N6600, bisa anda download di website punya Nokia, atau cari lewat mbah GOOGLE…. :D (Nokia_6600_Modem_Options.exe)

Setelah semua sudah disiapkan, kita mulai :
1. Install Driver bawaan broadcom (masukin CDDriver ke CD drive, lalu cari file yang berekstensi .EXE, klik dobel aja file tsb, lalu di YES saja….ikuti langkahnya.)
2. Kemudian Install Software Nokia_6600_Modem_Options.exe-nya…
3. Udah selesai!!!

Nah ini dia, tahap yang penting bagian setting :
1. Aktifkan Bluetooth di Hape
2. Buka Phone and Modem Options (StartàControl Panel), Pilih Tab Modem –> Add –> Kasih Centang di “Dont Detect my Modem, i will select from my list” –> Next –> Di Manufacturer, pilih Nokia, di Model pilih Nokia 6600 –> Next –> Selected Ports, pilih Com7 (ini utk broadcom). –> Next –> Bila minta di install, install –> Continue Anyway –> sampai Finish.
3. Bila proses ke-2 berhasil, maka akan muncul Nokia 6600(Bluetooth) di Nokia Modem Options (buka Control Panel).
4. Pada Nokia Modem Options,
- Pilih di Installed Modem (Nokia 6600 Bluetooth)
- Connection Method (Modem)
- Gprs Access Point (www.indosat-m3.net) –> ini karena saya pake M3
5. Lalu OK.

Sekarang kita coba koneksikan lewat software yg diinstal dari driver bawaan broadcom
pilih Menu Start – All Program - Bluetooth.(kalo tidak bisa dipilih lewat pojok kanan bawah, biasanya muncul di situ)
1. Bluetooth-nya di aktifin dulu (klik kanan lalu pilih start the Bluetooth device)
2. Klik kanan di tanda bluetoth kanan bawah, lalu pilih quick connetàdialup networkingà other device. Dimenu other device tsb, klik refresh untuk searching Bluetooth.
3. Ketika sudah muncul blutooth kita, misal nama blutooth hape kita u mau ? I beri !, klik 2x di u mau ? I beri ! kita ini, maka akan muncul service di broadcom yang bisa digunakan.
4. Klik di Bluetooth Dial Up Networkiing Service, masukkan username dan password utk GPRS dari IM3, yaitu gprs (username) im3 (passwordnya), *99***1# masukkan di field Dial.
5. Connect, tunggu beberapa saat. dan wowwwww…connect bos!!

Selamat ber-internetan saja sepuasnya, tapi inget pulsa jangan bokek bos…..

CTT : Untuk provider laen, silahkan googling untuk username dan passwordnya.. perbedaannya cuma terletak disitu, proses setting hardwarenya sama, kecuali jika temen-temen menggunakan hape selain Nokia 6600.

Jika anda bingung pada tahap dialup, coba saja anda install softaware Nokia PC Siute (versi 6.81.13.0), pilih hubungkan ke internet, maka akan muncul menu one touch acces, otomatis akan searching sendiri, jika sudah ketemu. Klik sambung…jreng, maka anda sudah bisa ber-internetan dengan sesukanya.

Problem yang biasanya muncul :



1. error 734: The ppp link control protocol has terminated

Cara penanganan : Jika ini terjadi, Anda belum bisa koneksi ke jaringan. Hal ini terjadi karena kita belum menambahkan parameter ke modem. Tambahkan baris perintah: AT+CGDCONT=1, “IP”, “www.indosat-m3.net”. Caranya, klik kanan My Computer » properties » tab ”Hardware” » Device Manager » Modems » Nokia 6600 USB Modem. klik kanan » properties » di bagian Advanced - Extra Settings, masukkan baris perintah di situ » OK. Coba dial sekali lagi.

2. error 687: The remote computer did not respond.

Cara penanganan : Jika ini terjadi, restart handphone Anda dan/atau install ulang PC Suite di komputer Anda. Pastikan menggunakan PC Suite versi terbaru.

3. error 797: A connection to the remote computer could not be established because the modem was not found or was busy.

Cara penanganan : Jika ini terjadi, berarti ada masalah dengan koneksi modem Anda. Coba cabut kabel dan pasang kembali.

Koneksi Internet Dengan Modem Handphone

Hape sebagai modem untuk melakukan koneksi internet merupakan cara paling sederhana yang layak dilakukan bagi generasi yang serba kebelet, misalnya sekedar untuk ber YM ria lewat pc, atau membuka email dari rekan bukan kebelet merayu cewek lho?. Tapi bagi professional surfer saya kira kurang puas, kecuali bisa melakukan tweak juga pendongrak koneksi internet.

Berikut settingan beberapa profider mulai gsm dan cdma, kalo ada yang kurang silahkan di tambahi.

Persiapan:
A.Peralatan yang di perlukan:

1. Sebuah HP yang support GPRS, dan sudah bisa koneksi dengan GPRS.
2. Kartu telepon / sim card.
3. Personal computer boleh juga laptop.
4. Perangkat koneksi, dari HP ke PC. Boleh pakai kabel data, Bluetooth, atau IrDA (Infrared Data Adapter). Berikut dengan drivernya yang sudah diinstall. Pokoknya sudah bisa kirim-kiriman antara PC dan HP.
5. Tancapkan hanphone yang sudah aktif gprsnya (pastikan kondisi on) dengan kabel data ke usb komputer anda. Bila file driver telah ada di komputer maka secara otomatis akan mendeteksi dengan sendiri. bila tidak lakukan penginstalan driver secara manual.

B.Setting Modem

Start >> control panel >> Phone and Modem Options>> akan muncul daftar modem yang udah terdeteksi oleh komputer beserta portnya bisa com2, com7 dst. Bila sudah ada berarti terdeteksi bila belum bisa di pastikan salah satu setingan belum lengkap, periksa kabel data dan hidupkan hanphone anda.

Untuk memastikan koneksi antara pc dengan hanphone secara manual, silahkan sorot nama modem anda lalu pilih properties, di tab general akan tertera nama modem hape anda, lalau pilih diagnostics lalu query modem, bila tertera success berarti komunikasi oke.
Silahkan lihat bagian tab advanced, lalu di bagian extra setting masukkan kode dibawah ini: - lalu ok.

Kode extra setting

AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”, “Acsess poin name operator”
Sebagai catatan: Acsess poin name merupakan variable yang senantiasa bisa berubah, kita sesuaikan dengan kartu hanphone yang kita pakai.

Contoh: anda memakai kartu im3 sebagai kartu hanphone yang anda gunakan sebagai modem handphone, maka settingannya kan jadi sebagai berikut:
AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”www.indosat-im3.net”

Berikut settingan kode untuk masing masing operator:

C.Melakukan koneksi / membuat dial up:

1. Buka Control Panel lagi,
2. Pilih Network Connections,
3. New Connection Wizard.
4. Ikuti langkah-langkahnya dengan menekan Next…
5. Untuk Connection Type, pilih Connect to the Internet
6. Getting Ready, pilih Set up my connection manually
7. Internet Connection, pilih Connect using a dial-up modem
8. Pada connection name / isp name isikan nama terserah anda misal konekyuk (sebagai nama koneksi anda)
9. Pada Phone number to dial, isikan *99***1# (lihat daftar di bawah untuk cdma berbeda)
10. Pada dialog pengisian username dan password, sesuaikan dengan setting kartu anda. Jika menggunakan IM3, usernamenya gprs dan passwordnya im3 (lihat daftar di bawah. silahkan di sesuaikan sendiri.

Catatan : angka 1 di dalam setingan dial number silahkan disesuaikan dengan banyaknya koneksi internet yang ada di komputer anda. contoh anda memiliki 2 macam koneksi internet dari pc anda maka dial number bisa diisi: *99***2# dst.

Untuk kartu IM3, fasilitas GPRS-nya otomatis aktif saat kartunya diaktifkan. Untuk Simpati dan lain-lain masih perlu register dulu, dan untuk nomor lain bisa menghubungi customer service untuk informasi aktivitas GPRS. Saya buat tutorialnya setting gprs ini.
